If there’s one thing the current situation has given us, it’s a renewed appreciation for the outdoors. With much more ventilation, the space to stay socially distant, and a great excuse to ride, there’s no better escape from the boredom of working from home than a day outdoors.
Well aware of this, Vespa has launched yet another new model perfect for the times, the Vespa Pic Nic. The Pic Nic gets its name from the French word “pique – nique”, a social gathering where each attendee brings a share of food.
The Vespa Pic Nic is a Limited Edition Vespa Primavera that comes with all the necessary accessories to enjoy a day outdoors. For added convenience, Vespa Philippines is offering the Pic Nic as a comprehensive, all-in-one package with all the accessories already installed.
The Vespa Primavera Pic Nic comes in three colors: White Innocenza, the Green Relax, and Grey Materia.
Unique to the Vespa Pic Nic is the two-tone brown saddle. It’s paired with footrest strips and padding in a matching shade. Naturally, the motorcycle comes with color-keyed decals and a unique badge on the front shield. It’s paired with white wheels that match the protective white strip on the front shield. It also comes with foldable chrome racks in front and behind, each equipped with 1 matching brown strap.
Vespa also recommends getting the matching Pic Nic accessories. Practically made for it is a wicker (rattan) basket. It comes with straps for securing plates and utensils. It attaches securely to the rear rack thanks to a complete fixing kit with bolts. Inside the basket is an included white cooler bag (inside the basket) where food and drinks can be stored.
Vespa also recommends getting the matching roll-up picnic blanket with leather details for a vintage vibe. Special Vespa tumblers, available in grey and white, are designed to keep your drink at the temperature you want.
Finally, there’s a branded fedora hat, a tote bag (which is available in white and grey) and white T-shirt with heritage graphic to truly live the Vespa life.
The key itself to escape is the Vespa Primavera. This fully automatic scooter is powered by a modern one-cylinder four-stroke 150 cc i-Get engine. This air-cooled is equipped with electronic injection and 3-valve technology programmed to meet today’s tight emissions restrictions.
The Vespa Pic Nic is now available at all authorized Vespa dealers. Unfortunately, Vespa has not released a price for the particular model as this may vary depending on the accessories chosen and the availability of the unit. Contact your nearest dealer for more details.
