Yamaha was present at the 13th Inside Racing Bike Fest and Trade Show, being held at the World Trade Show from today until March 24, 2019. One of the motorcycles that stood out at the event was the new Yamaha MT-15.
This much-awaited street fighter is powered by the same 155cc liquid-cooled engine of the new R15. Styling cues, such as the sharp curves and LED headlights, are inspired from the flagship MT-10. It churns out 19.3PS @ 10,000 rpm with 14.7Nm torque @ 8,500 rpm.
True to the "Dark side of Japan" theme applied to all the 2019 MT-series models, the 2019 MT-15 features the Ice Fluo color scheme, characterized by red wheels and a white tank.
Like the R15, the new MT-15 also boasts an upside-down fork, slipper clutch, disc brakes for the front and rear; and a massive 10 liter fuel tank. This new model replaces the TFX 150 we've already become familiar with. The MT-15 is on display at the the Inside Racing Bike Fest and will be available at all Yamaha dealers for an SRP of PhP 159,000.
