Many of the electric scooters we’ve been seeing lately are laughably comical in design. Thick tube frames, tiny wheels, short front forks, paired with neon colors hardly help their image. One Australian company, however, hopes to change that with their electric cruiser.
The Wyld, distributed by Austrilia-based Electric Mobility Solutions (EMoS), dares to be different. This electric cruiser motorcycle features massive 18-inch wheels, wide tires, a swappable lithium-ion battery and a 96-Nm electric motor. It’s capable of propeling the bike up to 50 km/h.
The Wyld comes with a choice of 12Ah, 20Ah, and 30Ah versions for a range of 60 kilometers or 80 and 90 kilometers. It can recharge in just 5 hours.
Besides that it comes with a digital instrument panel. It also features full LED lighting.
For now, the Wyld is only available in Australia, with deliveries expected to begin later this year. For those curious, it’s priced from AUD $2,999 (PhP106,175) to AUD $6,449 (PhP228,318).
