The global pandemic has brought a lot of challenges to the way we live our lives. If there’s any consolation, it happened during the internet age. This allows us to conduct our businesses and daily transactions right at our fingertips using our mobile phones.
Realizing its potential, Royal Enfield (RE) has partnered with Lazada – an e-commerce platform – to make its motorcycle models more accessible to Filipinos. This is on top of the existing Royal Enfield showrooms.
“We are extremely delighted to be a part of the Lazada platform in the Philippines. This gives the motorcycle enthusiasts one more channel to book a Royal Enfield motorcycle in our island country. As a digital first brand, our presence on the platform will strengthen our accessibility. As the official distributor, all transactions will be managed by us in the market,” said Hardcore Brothers Custom Motorcycles CEO, Jimmy Barinaga.
This collaboration demonstrates Royal Enfield’s effort towards building an ecosystem around motorcycles and enhancing the motorcycling experience. The aim is to further strengthen the brand message of pure motorcycling and allow emerging aspirants and existing loyalists to express themselves with the brand. The motorcycles are suitable for all kinds of riders whether they are novices, intermittent riders, or experienced riders. Anyone can have the Royal Enfield they've been desiring right at their fingertips.
Commenting on the collection, Carlos Barrera, COO of Lazada Philippines said, “As part of our commitment to elevate the online shopping experience for Filipinos, we are really excited about partnering with Royal Enfield, whose brand has spun over a 120-year legacy and offers products reflecting heritage and are also contemporary. Lazada's continuous growth into product categories such as motorcycles is also a reflection of our commitment to improve our offerings to suit the needs of our growing consumer base, including loyal enthusiasts of Royal Enfield's timeless products.”
Bear in mind that the official Lazada store only allows clients to make a reservation and pay the fee. The full transaction and payment methods must still be completed through conventional channels.
