Weighs only 35 pounds

As the roads continue to become more and more congested, Filipinos have slowly turned to bikes as their preferred choice for mode of transportation.

If you’re looking for a bike with an outstanding design and cutting-edge technology, look no further than this bike that made its debut at the Eurobike last month.

Called E-voluzione, this is an electric bike borne out of the collaboration between Pininfarina and Diavelo, a member of the Accell Group.

Using Pininfarina’s long experience in automotive design and Diavelo’s advanced technology in the bicycle sector, the E-voluzione is nothing short of futuristic.

It comes with a holistic design that integrates the battery, mid-engine, handlebar and stem, the cockpit, all the cable and lighting system into the bike giving it a pleasing aesthetic, better weight distribution and balance, and a more comfortable ride.

Carbon-fiber is used on the frame and other parts including the bar, seat post and wheels reducing the overall weight to only 35 pounds making it extremely maneuverable.

The E-voluzione uses a German Brose mid motor, which is also fully integrated within the carbon frame. It uses a belt drive transmission that requires no maintenance while providing a super silent drive and draws power from a Panasonic battery (500W – 13,6A – 36V) that is also fully integrated and removable for easy recharging.

It also comes with hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano components.

“E-voluzione represents a perfect synthesis of our spirit: sporty character and eco-friendly soul. Sporty and dynamic, a harmonic bike able to guarantee high performances and great comfort,” said Paolo Pininfarina, Chairman of the Group.
