To kick off its renewed drive to expand operations in the Philippines, Adventure Cycle Philippines, Inc. (ACPI), a subsidiary of the Ayala Automotive Group and official distributor of KTM motorcycles in the Philippines, opened its first wholly-owned showroom, flagship store and 18th KTM dealer, KTM BGC. ACPI hopes to have 22 dealerships operating by early 2017.
Situated besides Volkswagen BGC, the boutique store not only features models like the 1290 Super Adventure, 1290 Super Duke, Duke 200, and RC390 but also KTM Power Wear ranging from helmets, riding jackets, riding pants, gloves, raincoats to other KTM accessories such as caps and keychains.
ACPI will offer the entire 42 model line-up of KTM motorcycles, from the 50 SX Mini all the way up to the 1290 Super Adventure and 1290 Super Duke.
Making its opening truly one for the books, KTM BGC closed 28th street to allow KTM international stunt rider, Rok Bagoros to perform a few tricks for the large crowd in a Duke 200. A dining area and stage was set up for the opening and a performance by singer, Nicole Asencio. Current KTM owners were also invited to arrive in their Dukes with parking spaces reserved beside the new showroom.
Present at the event were self-confessed KTM fans, brothers, Jaime Augusto and Fernando Zobel de Ayala to lead the formal opening of the facility, with Aayala Automotive Group CEO and president, John Philip Orbeta, in attendance.
KTM BGC is located at 938 28th street in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
