LTO extends validity of licenses, some until 2022

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has again given extensions to the validity of Drivers Licenses (DL), Student Permits (SP), and Conductor’s Licenses (CL) that will be expiring on the months of October, November and December.

For those with December-expiring licenses and permits, the LTO has extended their validity until February 28, 2022, giving these license and permit holders ample time to renew their privilege to drive.

For those with DLs, SPs, and CLs that have expired last October, the LTO has extended their validity until December 31, 2021. For those with licenses and permits that will expire this month, you’ll have until January 31, 2022 to renew while 

To help minimize the spread of coronavirus, the LTO has again reminded motorists who will be transacting with them to follow the minimum health and safety protocols, as well as to bring their own ballpen to use when filling up forms in their office.
