BMW updating G 310 R and GS for 2021

While much of BMW’s lineup has already received upgrades, especially Euro-5 compliance, the Bavarian brand has finally turned its attention to its entry-level models, the G 310 R and GS.

With India being the models’ number one market, it should come as no surprise that the announcement came from BMW Motorrad India. The manufacturer shared teaser images the 2021 models on its social media page.

The 2021 BMW G 310 R and GS sport some minor changes. Most evident is the trellis frame now painted red in both models. American site, RideApart, had managed to snap a few photos of the upcoming model. Though mostly blacked out, the new model clearly sports LED headlamps. There don’t appear to be many changes to the fairing or the rest of the design.

Nonetheless, the changes are welcome. The Euro-5 compliance ensures the model will continue to be offered well into the coming decade, when Euro-5 is finally applied to the Philippines.

The 2021 G 310 R and GS will likely be launched within the month or on October 2020 at the latest. You can bet it will follow in the Philippines very soon.
