BMW Motorrad opens new showroom along Daang Hari

Motor Ace BMW now serves the South

On September 28, 2019, BMW Motorrad Philippines held the grand opening of its brand new showroom at the Motor Ace Moto Mecca compound along Daang Hari Road in Bacoor, Cavite. Motor Ace BMW is now ready to serve the residents of Cavite, Alabang, and other surrounding areas south of Metro Manila.

BMW Motorrad Philippines is the latest to join the growing Motor Ace Moto Mecca bike hub — along with several other motorcycle manufacturers, such as KTM and Yamaha. 

Located on the second floor of the facility, the snazzy new BMW Motorrad dealership takes up a sizable space and boasts an upscale design penned by the Munich office.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by John Neri (BMW Motorrad Philippines Branch Manager), Miguel Llabres-Pohl (Regional Director of BMW Motorrad Asia), Spencer Yu (President of SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp.), Daniel Abelarde (Motor Ace Operational Manager of Leisure Bikes), and Gil Balderas (BMW Motorrad Philippines Director of Sales). The men, including Jonel Borromeo (President of Motor Ace), also gave opening remarks for Saturday’s audience made up of motorcycle enthusiasts and media.

BMW Motorrad has seen a growth in sales in the past several years. This has encouraged the brand to respond to the demand by strengthening its dealership network around Metro Manila and the Philippines. The new Motor Ace showroom, which also sells apparel and features a service workshop, is part of this expansion plan. Now riders in the South have easier access to BMW Motorrad's lineup of lifestyle and adventure bikes, high-performance machines, heritage motorcycles, and tourers.

BMW Motorrad also celebrated its success in capturing the local premium motorcycle market as well as its 50-year presence in the Philippines. In addition, the R NineT /5 was also launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW Motorrad’s factory in Spandau, Berlin.
