Back in October of 2019, our friends at Benelli Philippines lent us the Leoncino 500 which caught our attention for good reasons. The naked roadster not only looked good but performed well too. Now, Benelli PH is offering its smaller sibling, the Leoncino 250, at an SRP of only PhP199,000.

Now Benelli offers the Leoncino in a more accessible package. The Leoncino 250 is powered by a 249 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces about 26 Ps of power and 21 Nm or torque. It is mated to a six-speed transmission with a chain as final drive.

The Leoncino 250 features LED lights, a digital instrument panel, and sporty exhaust. It rides on a 41 mm inverted fork in front while the rear enjoys a mono shock absorber which is preload adjustable. It's brought to a stop with dual-channel ABS (front and rear) and rolls on alloy wheels.

Owners of the Leoncino will find it perfect for long rides with a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 liters and claimed fuel economy of about 36.5 kilometers per liter combined city and highway riding. Hypothetically, this means that you can ride the Leoncino 250 for 456 kilometers in one top up.

Benelli's new naked roadster is now available at the Benelli showroom.
