KTM boasts that the new 890 Duke R is “the sportiest bike in the midweight segment and will give bigger bikes a run for their money.” The new 890 Duke R is powered by a parallel-twin, 890cc engine (possibly shared with the upcoming Husqvarna Norden 901) with an output of 123 Ps of power (121 Hp) and 99 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.

Bringing that much power to a stop are twin 4-piston Brembo Stylema calipers on twin 320mm discs for the front, and a Brembo single-piston floating caliper on a 240mm disc for the rear.
