Introduced 20 years ago, the TMax is easily one of the most popular large touring scooters in the world. It was designed to offer riders the power of a big bike with the ease of operation and comfort of a scooter for long distances.
In celebration of its 20 years of success, Yamaha has created the 20th Anniversary Edition TMax, limited to only 560 units worldwide.
The 20th Anniversary edition is the highest specification TMAX ever built. Among its exclusive features are forged carbon bodywork and a special Tech Graphite color. For long and comfortable rides, it features a premium heated seat with yellow stitching, as well as heated grips. Each of the 560 units of TMax 20th Anniversary is individually numbered, making this the ultimate special edition of Yamaha’s iconic Sport Scooter.
TMax
The Yamaha TMax is a large scooter introduced by Yamaha Motor Europe in 2000. When it was first introduced, the TMax bore the largest engine of any scooter in production at the time, with its 500 cc powerplant.
Minor updates were introduced in 2012, including a displacement increase to 530 cc. For 2021 model year onwards, the new TMax will be powered by a new 560 cc engine, complete with a ride-by-wire system, traction control, power modes, and many more.
