The Vitpilen and Svartpilen by Husqvarna will hit streets this spring

Husqvarna’s Vitpilen and Svartpilen 'Real Street' bikes have been some of the most anticipated motorcycles since the 2014 EICMA debut of their concepts. Fast-forward to EICMA 2017, when Husqvarna announced that the production versions were ready for rollout. It was recently announced that the 2018 Vitpilen and Svartpilen will be seen on European roads as early as the end of March, and in North America by late April.

The 401 versions of the Vitpilen naked cafe and Svartpilen scrambler are powered by the KTM Duke 390’s 373.2cc single-cylinder engine. While the two differ in aesthetics, purpose, and equipment… The North American MSRP of both is reported at US$ 6,299 each.

The sporty Vitpilen 701, which uses the Husky 701 Supermoto’s 692.7cc thumper, is higher-spec and priced accordingly. The North American MSRP of the Vitpilen 701 has been stated as US$ 11,999. ABS is available for all the aforementioned machines

Since this new 'Real Street' motorcycle line is meant to tap more global markets, there’s an increased chance that the bikes will be available in more countries through KTM and Husqvarna dealers. Cross your fingers.
