For big bike riders living at the northern and southern ends of Metro Manila, the opening of Skyway Stage 3 is big relief. Thanks to the elevated highway, travel from north to south of Manila (and vice-versa) now only takes just a few minutes versus what used to be two to three hours of travel due to traffic jams.
The exits may still be limited but there's a new one that will be added today, April 22, 2021.
Tonight starting at 6 PM, SMC Tollways will open the Nagtahan off-ramp for motorists coming from Alabang or Makati.
So, if you’re coming from the south and are heading to Manila or San Juan, you may take the Nagtahan off-ramp to get to your destination. Motorists, however, are still advised to follow the 60-kph speed limit being imposed on the megastructure to avoid any fines.
Though technically, the Skyway Stage 3 is not yet complete, it is gradually opening on-ramps and off-ramps to make travel more convenient to more locations.
