Celebrities, concerts and bikes raffled off

Motorcycle riders in the Philippines continue to grow in number every year. Easily the motorcycle capital of the country is Manila with more motorists opting to use bikes to get around the city. To emphasize its commitment to the growing motorcycle community, Shell organized the Shell Bike Fair 2017 series of events across the country. Legs were held across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Serving as the culmination of the series was its last leg in Metro Manila, held on September 30, 2017. The festivities took place at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The event was expected to attract some 4,000 visitors. Booths in the Shell Bike Fair introduced bikers to the benefits of the two products. Shell Advance allows for a smoother ride by protecting the engine from wear and maintaining clean pistons, while the new and improved Shell V-Power is designed to deliver both performance and efficiency.

Partner brands, such as Ducati, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Wheeltek, showcased their latest models. Motorcycle clubs also had their own booths to exhibit their recent activities and acheivements.

Finally, a custom bike show also dominated the central area, showing off the latest trends and most outrageous styles.

Guests were treated to performances by Soupstar Band, Northdrive, Skylight, Imago, Go Girls, Imago and Parokya ni Edgar, as well as appearances by celebrities Max Collins, Jackie Rice, Andrea Torres, Roxanne Barcelo, Sam Pinto, and Bella Padilla. Several motorcycle clubs received special prizes and 3 lucky winners brought home brand new bikes: a Yamaha Aerox, Suzuki Raider, and Honda CBR 150. Outside, riders could also take advantage of the free check up and oil change with a purchase of Shell Advance oil.
