Yet another automobile brand is dipping its toes into the mobility segment. This time it’s Spanish automaker, SEAT. Another member of the VW group.

SEAT took the wraps off of a new electric scooter and electric kick scooter. These two new vehicles we be offered under SEAT’s new Mó brand.

eScooter 125

Headlining it is the SEAT Mó eScooter125, the brand’s first all-electric motorcycle. Its electric motor produces peak power of 9kW and 240 Nm of torque. SEAT says it’s comparable to a 125cc motorcycle.

The motor is integrated into the rear wheel. It can accelerate from 0-50km/h in 3.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 95 km/h. It has a range of up to 125-km on a single charge. Power comes from a 5.6kWh lithium-ion battery pack and should only need charging once a week.

The battery can be charged at charging stations or even removed and plugged into a home power outlet, while a fully charged one can be slipped into the motorcycle.

It features three built-in driving modes: City, Sport and Eco, as well as a reverse gear to make maneuvering simpler.

Besides these features, it also offers enough onboard storage for up to two helmets in the under seat compartment. There are also two USB ports to charge phones or gadgets.

Finally, there is also an accompanying app that lets users track their vehicle via a smartphone, giving information on position and status updates.

The eScooter 125 is offered in Daring Red, Dark Aluminium, and Oxygen White.

Motorsharing

Besides selling to private buyers, SEAT also plans to roll out the Mó eScooter125 in a shared vehicle pilot program. IT will be similar to the private version but include additions like a top box case and integrated phone holder.

To distinguish it from the private version, it will be painted in Dark Aluminium matte paint.

eKickScooter

SEAT’s second offering is the Mó eKickScooter. It comes in 25 and 65 variants which match their nominal range in kilometers. These are powered by a 350W electric motor capable of climbing inclines as steep as 20 degrees.

In the eKickScooter65, it’s paired with a 551Wh battery pack and can achieve a top speed of 20km/h. and a range of 65-km. As the name suggests, the eKickScooter 25 has arrange of 25-km.

Like the motorcycle, the eKickScooter also has three driving modes – Eco, Standard and Sport.

It’s also equipped with front and rear lights, a brake light, side/rear reflectors, a front electronic brake, and rear drum brake.

The SEAT Mó eKickScooter65 will be available in an exclusive Daring Red matte paint.

For now, these electric motorcycles and scooters are only being released in Europe.
