We’re at it again. With the increasing number of new COVID-19 cases daily, the government has again declared certain travel restrictions in areas within “NCR Plus” – which is the National Capital Region, plus the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan, starting today, March 22 to April 4, 2021.
According to IATF Resolution number 104, all non-essential travel to and from the areas mentioned above are prohibited. That means, group rides to areas outside of NCR, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan, will have to be postponed at least until after April 4.
The same goes if you’re planning a leisure trip into an area that is part of NCR Plus but are coming from an area outside of it.
Mass gatherings not allowed
Like with most group rides, gathering of more than 10 riders is almost inevitable. Unfortunately with the new guidelines, the government prohibits such mass gatherings of more than 10 people at a time.
Also, although dining in restaurants is still allowed, only outside or al fresco dining will be permitted. All indoor dining will be prohibited.
Curfew
Common curfew hours between 10 PM to 5 AM will be imposed across NCR, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan. Personnel going to or returning from work will be exempted from such curfew.
