You can reload Easytrip RFID virtually anywhere

Ever since the Department of Transportation (DOTr) mandated the use of RFID tags for contactless toll collection across all expressways, one of the challenges motorists face is the lack of facilities to reload the tags.

The good news is that, toll operators have been partnering with many establishments to make RFID reloading more convenient than before.

Easytrip RFID now offers more than 50,000 reloading stations in Luzon, providing more convenience to its over two (2) million subscribers.

Reloading their radio frequency identification (RFID) tag allows access to the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) network of toll roads: NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, C5 LINK, and CALAX.

Motorists can reload their account real-time in leading stores like:

  • SM Business Service Center
  • Robinsons Business Center
  • 7-11 stores (Cliqq)
  • Bayad Center
  • M Lhuillier
  • Cebuana
  • Villarica
  • USSC
  • Pera Hub
  • LBC
  • Smart Padala
  • TouchPay
  • ECPay

"Reloading is made convenient with all these accessible establishments all over Metro Manila and Luzon. We have partnered with them to make reloading stations easy to find and encourage all expressway users to keep their accounts updated to ensure ease of passage through our toll plazas,” said Roberto Bontia, Chief Technology Officer of MPTC, President and General Manager of Metro Pacific Tollways South (MPT South).

Aside from physically going to these establishments to reload, subscribers also have the option of reloading via the internet through Easytrip’s online partners like Gcash, Paymaya, EON, Bayad Center App (Bayad), coins.ph, and justpay, which also credit in real-time. There's also the option through banks like Metrobank, BDO, UCPB, and BPI (BancNet, Mastercard, or Visa). Convenience fees for these options may vary. Also, customer service sites at the various entry and before exits of the toll roads offer reloading services aside from RFID sticker installation.

“We are aware that motorists have different behaviors when transacting, some prefer going to physical stores or their banks, while others prefer doing it online. With this in mind, we make sure that we cater to everyone’s level of comfort in keeping their account up to date,” Bontia added.
