Ducati is set to unveil their 25th Anniversario 916 edition Panigale V4 tomorrow, at the historic Laguna Seca speedway in California, USA. The event will also coincide with the US round of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK) that will be attended by 4-time champion, Carl Fogarty, who is one of the most dominant motorcycle racers of the '90s.
The Ducati 916, which made its world debut in 1994, is a sports bike with a liquid-cooled, 916cc desmodromic L-twin that produces 115 Ps (114 HP) and is considered to be one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made. It was designed by legendary motorcycle designer, Massimo Tamburini, together with his team at the Cagiva Research Center in San Marino.
The Ducati Panigale V4 Anniversario 916 will be produced by the Italian brand in limited numbers only – 500 individually-numbered units that will sport an original livery and racing components exclusive only to this model.
Paying tribute to the iconic Ducati 916, the Aruba.it Racing Team will be competing on racebikes with special livery inspired by the graphics of the Panigale V4 Anniversario 916.
