The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced today that their offices from Region I, Region II, Region III, Region IV-A and Region V, will start implementing the provisions stipulated in Republic Act 10930. This provision is the issuance of 10-year valid driver’s licenses for qualified drivers.
Comprehensive Driver’s Education (CDE)
Like what was previously mentioned, drivers who will renew their driver’s licenses at LTO branches that can issue 10-year valid licenses will now be required to undergo the mandatory Comprehensive Driver’s Education or CDE. Taking the CDE is FREE at any LTO Driver’s Education Centers or through the Land Transportation Management System or LTMS.
The LTO again reminds the public to always follow the minimum health and safety protocols while doing business with their offices.
