Yamaha gives back as part of Brigada Eskwela 2019

7 batangas schools helped by Yamaha

Before the school year started, Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. planned its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to continue their support for this annual advocacy with its adopted schools in the province of Batangas. 

With this year’s objective, the PR Task Force, proponents of YMPH’s Corporate Social Responsibility, encouraged volunteerism among employees. As a volunteer, they will be given a task to complete in every school such as gardening, cleaning and painting. Aside from this, the donation drive was implemented throughout the YMPH’s offices. In the span of a month, the drive accumulated hundreds of school supplies donations where hundreds of children benefited. 

This commitment to helping the children’s education led to the creation of facilities needed for each school. By means of improving the infrastructure, it will also create more opportunities for both students and teachers in an environment more suited for education. Yamaha also donated raincoats to every child in preparation for the incoming rainy season while projectors and laptops were also donated by YMPH for the school administration to augment their tools in teaching. This bounty of gift for the schools will benefit future batches as well, long-term dedication to their education. 

To date, Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. has adopted 7 schools and built facilities to improve the student's lives while in school. These schools are: 

• Tanauan City Integrated High School – Hand wash facility

• San Bartolome Elementary School – Pergola

• Cuenca National High School – Water tank

• Bayorbor National High School – School Canteen

• Lumbang Integrated National High School – Hand wash facility

• Tangway Elementary School – Rehabilitation of the school’s stage

• San Pioquinto Elementary School – Pathway roofing 

Yamaha functions not just as a company dedicated to giving quality products and services among its customers, it is also a company that supports the Filipino community. Yamaha will continue this commitment for years to come to further enrich the children’s lives across the Philippines.
