Bridgeworks set for Marilao Bridge along McArthur Highway, Bulacan on February 1

The local government unit of Marilao, Bulacan has announced the temporary closure of Marilao Bridge between 8:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 up to 5:00 AM Sunday, February 2, 2020. Though the advisory did not disclose the reason for the closure, it could be assumed that it will be related to the bridge rehabilitation that has been going on for many months now.

If you or your motorcycle group has plans on going north of Manila beyond Marilao, suggested alternate routes are as follows:

Take Sandico Road just beside Marilao Fire Station and just follow it until Landicho and all the way out to McArthur Highway again and to point of destination. Another option is to take the San Jose del Monte-Norzagaray Road, go straight to A. Santos Highway all the way to Baliuag or San Rafael, Bulacan to point of destination.
