Motorists can now enjoy a food park along CCLEX

Worry-free travel is perhaps one of the main reasons why a lot of motorists choose to travel along the expressways. Another thing that makes motorists want to travel along the expressways is the abundance of food stops along the way, which are usually in gas stations. The expressway in Cebu has followed suit.

Just recently, the management of the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) has opened a food park just beside the toll plaza.

The food park project, duplicates the Drive and Dine facility located in other Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC)-operated expressways such as the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). The NLEX Drive and Dine, developed and managed by MPT Mobility, is considered the top motorist toll service facility in Luzon with its variety of popular partner establishments.

“Although this food park is just temporary and will run for about six months, we are simultaneously planning on building a more permanent toll service facility for the benefit of our motorists, or what we will call the CCLEX Drive and Dine,” said CCLEC Vice President and Project Manager, Herbert Laboy.

The food park is open from 8 AM to 10 PM. On Fridays to Sundays, it is open to motorists from 8 AM until midnight with free entertainment.
