Personal mobility has never been this important since the pandemic began. With limited public transport, many commuters have switched to Personal Mobility Devices (PMD) such as bicycles, electric kick scooters, e-bikes, hoverboards, and the like to move around the city. Bonifacio Global City has recognized the need to make their streets safer for these commuters and has now opened dedicated lanes for PMDs.
Tim Vargas of Electric Kick Scooter Philippines (EKSPH) has shared with MotoPinas.com that these dedicated PMD lanes across BGC are protected with bollards to make travel safer for the people who ride them.
These dedicated PMD lanes can be found on the following BGC streets: McKinley Parkway, Federacion Drive, 7th Avenue, 9th Avenue, 28th Street, 11th Avenue, 30th Street, 34th Street, 8th Avenue, 3rd Avenue and Rizal Drive.
