Akrapovič launches Slip-On Line for Triumph Speed Twin, Thruxton

Akrapovič has a new range of exhaust systems specifically tailored for Triumph modern classics. Not only enhancing their sound, the new range of exhaust systems has been specifically designed to complement the look of the bikes.

For this line, Akrapovič used traditional colorways like a titanium natural surface and matte black coating. The systems have been developed to change the sound and optimize power through the entire rev range and torque – especially in the mid to high rpm zone.

Headlining the series is the Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system for the Triumph Speed Twin and Thruxton 1200. The Slip-On Line offers a unique soundtrack, with a deeper, thrilling tone, which provides an instant feeling of power. This unique sound comes to life as soon as the engine fires up, and as the revs increase the exhaust expresses the engine tone even further. The system also features insulated link pipes to reduce the heat on the side of the bike near the rider's leg.

Fully compliant with EC/ECE type approval, this new range of Akrapovič exhausts is lighter than stock, thanks to materials like titanium on the outer sleeve with an engraved logo or monochrome logo sticker, all finished with silver or black-coated end caps and black-coated heat shields. The Bonneville T100, T120 and Scrambler 1200 will get a titanium natural version. Systems for the Speed Twin and Thruxton 1200 will be black-coated.

More exhausts for the range will be developed for release soon, including for the Bonneville T100 and T120 and the Scrambler 1200.
