KTM's racing teams will soon be riding on all-new motorcycles after the company launched the 2017 SX Factory Edition bikes. Better equipped than the standard SX-F motorcycles, the new SX Factory Edition motorcycles get the latest tech in very limited quantities.

First up is the 450 SX-F Factory Edition (FE). It is still powered by the familiar SOHC single-cylinder engine that benefits from fuel injection, titanium valves, 44mm throttle body and a crankshaft with a short connecting rod. It puts out 62 PS and is capable of reaching all the way to 11,500 rpm. Helping riders control that power comes courtesy of new systems like traction control, launch control and a two-position ECU map switch.

New to the 450 SX-F FE however, are the updated WP AER 48 front forks and shock absorbers for better stability and handling. Helping reduce overall weight is the Akrapovic muffler. It is then topped off with CNC-machined orange anodized triple clamps, DirtStar rims and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing livery.

Next is the smaller-engined 250 SX-F Factory Edition which features lightweight and agile chassis. Power is provided by a DOHC single-cylinder engine that can rev all the way to 14,000 rpm. Like the 450, it benefits from a 44mm throttle body, traction and launch control system, titanium valves, a short con-rod for the crankshaft.

The front forks also come from WP AER while the titanium muffler is provided by FMF. CNC-machined orange andodized triple clamps and DirtStar rims complete the package.
