Iconic helmet brand reintroduced

For many motorcycle riders here in the Philippines, especially those who were already riding before some decades ago, their motorcycle helmet was most likely a Zeus helmet. During those times, there were just a few choices, either some very affordable ones with questionable safety ratings or those made by Zeus.

Just last Saturday at the Cafe Motora Azul in Mandaluyong, Bikerbox, Inc. re-introduced Zeus to the Filipino riders with six models to start the lineup.

Present during the event was Bikerbox' main man, Mike Bondoc. “We have always advocated for safer [motorcycle] riding,” said Bondoc. “Bringing this iconic brand will make quality yet affordable helmets more accessible to the masses.”

Also present during the launch was Zeus Helmets sales manager for the Philippines, Ms. Amber Hsueh, who said that they are excited to bring back the Zeus brand here in the country after a 2-year hiatus. She also added that the Taiwanese brand promises to bring only the best quality yet affordable helmets for the Filipinos.

For its initial lineup, Zeus brings back the all-time classic, ZS-612A half-face helmet. Popular with scooter riders, it comes in solid  colors and is priced at PhP 2,500. Next is the ZS-811. Designed for track riding or just weekend leisure riding, the attached rear spoiler makes it even more aerodynamic and look more radical than ever, priced at PhP 3,600. The mid-level offering is the ZS-813, packed with features such as a full ventilation system in the chin, forehead, and oeven in the rear to serve as exhaust. It's priced at PhP 3,600 for a solid color, or PhP 3,900 for the multi-color scheme version. Catering to riders of Vespas, Kymco Likes, and other lifestyle scooters is the ZS-218 priced at PhP 3,000.

The ZS-1800 street helmets come in two versions: the ZS-1800 Fiber designed for speed and comfort, with features like a dual visor, wide aperture visor, or flat race visor, priced at PhP 6,900. As the name suggests, the ZS-1800 Carbon Fiber is the top of the line model. It is fully made of carbon fiber with a glossy topcoat, that proudly showcases the intricate carbon fiber weave of the shell. It is priced at PhP 11,900.

Zeus helmets are be available at Bikerbox, Inc. and all authorized dealers nationwide.
