MMDA launches online adjudication platform

In order to serve the motoring public better, as well as to minimize the crowding at their offices, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched today, September 23, 2022, the online platform for contesting an apprehension.

You can now contest an MMDA apprehension online image

Motorists, who feel that they were wrongfully apprehended by an MMDA personnel for a traffic violation, may click here to fill up the Filing of Contest on Traffic Apprehension form, which will then be reviewed by the agency’s Traffic Adjudication Division.

The motorist must upload the following: Unified Ordinance Violation Receipt (UOVR), driver’s license, and the Official Receipt/Certificate of Registration (OR/CR) of the vehicle.

The MMDA will receive these online Filing of Contest on Traffic Apprehension forms from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The MMDA says that any motorist who will file for a contest of apprehension should be contacted by their Traffic Adjudication Division within 3 business days for the pre-processing of the adjudication procedure.

Take note, however, that contesting the traffic violation/apprehension does not and will not guarantee the nullification of the said apprehension.
