A photo of a Yamaha Tracer 125 has been leaked in Vietnam, suggesting there could be a new, small member of the adventure-style sport tourer family coming. MotoSaigon.vn has managed to snap a photo of a prototype with a mix of Tracer and MT-15 parts.

As the name suggests, the Tracer 125 is heavily influenced by the styling of the Tracer 700 and 900, even sporting the higher mount handlebars and windshield.

Naturally, just like the coming XSR 155, the Tracer 125 will be built around the Deltabox engine and chassis from the MT-125 and MT-15. Lights will be closer to the MT-15 as well.

The Tracer 125 will be powered by a single cylinder SOHC engine with VVA technology, and paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Other sources suggest however that it could be offered as a Tracer 150 or 155 in other markets with a 6-speed, using more components from the MT-15.

There’s no confirmation if this is just a prototype or could be a potential future model. However, with Yamaha gearing up for an XSR 155 launch in Asia, this Tracer 125 or 150 could also be a possibility.
