Yamaha Motor Philippines has recently partnered with CARE PH, one of the largest non-profit humanitarian organizations in the country, to deliver much-needed generators and motorcycles to those who were affected by the recent typhoon.
Immediately after the onslaught of typhoon Quinta last October that ravaged almost the entire Bicol region, CARE’s staff were already on the ground to assess the situation. They were able to provide food packs to affected families.
Yamaha, on the other hand, has conducted a donation drive within the company and doubled every 100-peso donation. Yamaha Motor Philippines was able to amass 826,800 pesos, along with the donation of motorcycles and generators to be used for mobility and power requirements of those who are in need. Overall, the entirety of the donation accumulated a total of Php1,500,00.00.
As 2020 ends, no one should be left behind, and Yamaha will continue its advocacy to keep everyone moving forward.
