New underbone features fuel injection

Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. launches its latest contender for the underbone segment, the Yamaha Sight. The new bike hopes to tackle established competitors in the segment.

The sight is powered by an air-cooled 115cc engine with fuel injection. The cyldiner head has a spiny sleeve to improve cooling. It’s paired with a constant mesh 4-speed transmission to deliver 8.4 PS and 9.5 Nm. A disc brake in front and drum in the rear bring it to a stop.

The rider will be greeted by an easy-to-read instrument panel with a gear position indicator. It also includes an electric starter. The key slot includes an anti-theft, magnetic key shutter like its stablemate bikes. The panel is mounted on an aluminum grab bar.

Under the seat is a 9-liter compartment to carry tools or small items. The fuel tank, on the other hand, has a 4-liter capacity.

The Sight is stylized with active color graphics, a muffler protector, and a choice of three colors.

The Yamaha Sight is priced at PhP 59,900 for the spoke wheel edition (available in Black Raven and Red Metallic). The Cast wheel version is priced at PhP 62,900 and is available in Yellow Hornet and Black Raven colours. The sight is now available in all Yamaha 3S Shops and Multi-brand stores nationwide.
