After a stellar 2016, the Yamaha Club decided to go on a special three-day ride to welcome the new year. Held last January 25-27, Yamaha club presidents from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao came together to start off 2017.
At the very first day of the event, club members boarded a service bus from Yamaha Flagship Shop, the Yzone, to the Venus Parkview Hotel in Baguio. The venue served as the president's meeting place. YMPH executives then discussed plans for upcoming events and activities, including their new direction for 2017.
For this year, Yamaha Club focused on rider lifestyle by upgrading to an even bigger reward scheme for club members. After the meeting, Ms. Roxanne Lariego, who represented Motoworld, awarded the prizes to the raffle winners. The prizes included premium items, a helmet, and a padded jacket.
On the second day, the club presidents and vice presidents got on their Yamaha Motorcycles and headed for Sagada. The trip consisted of long, winding roads, giving them an unforgettable experience, which they would share to their fellow riders. Following the long journey to Sagada, they arrived at their destination, the Rock Inn Cafe.
During the final day, riders stopped at the highest point of the Philippine highway system, situated at 7,400 feet. At the top, everyone got to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mountain province. The three day ride proved to be a fitting start to 2017; and for the Yamaha Club to have another great year.
