A bus company announces new route

A bus company that transports commuters from the PITX in Paranaque to Nasugbu in Batangas will now regularly pass through the Kaybiang Tunnel route. The move is envisioned to cut travel time for its customers from the usual three hours down to just one and a half hours. While this may be a welcome move for commuters from both Batangas and Cavite, motorcycle riders, on the other hand, are hereby advised to take extra precautions when riding to and from the famous weekend destination, and be on the lookout for more buses along the route.

The bus route passes through Emilio Aguinaldo Highway (Radial Road 2), through the Tagaytay - Nasugbu Highway, and onto the Palico - Nasugbu Highway.

Kaybiang Tunnel is a 300-meter tunnel at the north ridge of Mt. Pico de Loro. It is currently the Philippines' longest tunnel and since its opening to the public back in 2013, the tunnel has become a famous weekend hangout of cyclists, motorcycle riders and travelers on board vehicles due to its beautiful scenery, relatively close proximity to Metro Manila and of course, its fine winding roads.
