LTO joins Tiktok with dance video on traffic laws.

Many government agencies are now getting on soci media to better communitcate with the public.

While Facebook and Twitter pages are nothing new, presence in video site, Tiktok certainly is. the Land Transportation Office (LTO) -Region 3, has just made a Tiktok dance video to the tune of the popular song “Kabet (It really hurts)” by a group named Gagong Rapper.

Of course, the point of using the song is to highlight how "it really hurts" to pay the fine when violating certain traffic laws.

Department of Transportation (DOTr) assistant secretary, Goddes Hope Libiran, has also shared the video on her official social media page.

MAY PANDEMIC O WALA, KAILANGAN MAY DISIPLINA. Kung ayaw mong magmulta, MAGPAKATINO KA SA KALSADA (with or without pandemic, practice discipline. If you don’t want to pay the fines, be a responsible driver).”

The video shows LTO personnel dancing to the song, with captions showing the penalties and fines the agency imposes per violation.

These are offenses like Driving without a License or Reckless Driving with hefty fines ranging from ₱1,000 to ₱12,000 plus possible revocation of the privilege to drive a motor vehicle depending on the number of offenses. Drivers are reminded to think twice before believing they can get away with breaking a traffic law.
