As expected, the new VOGE 900DS has made its debut at the recently-concluded EICMA in Milan, Italy, to the delight of spectators.

F 850 GS engine?

It’s no secret that German motorcycle manufacturer, BMW Motorrad, and one of China’s largest producers of motorcycles, Loncin, have been in a technical partnership for many years now.

Using the same engine developed for the Germans, this new adventure bike from VOGE features an 895cc, parallel-twin, DOHC engine that is claimed to be capable of producing 98.5 PA of power and 87 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed transmission.

This engine also powers BMW’s F 850 GS/GSA, F 900 R, and the F 900 XR.

Like a modern European bike

Much like its European cousin, the new VOGE 900DS also boasts an array of features that a rider would appreciate on an adventure bike.

This includes a full-TFT panel, ride-by-wire, riding modes, ABS, heated grips and seats, and reportedly, cruise control.

Additionally, the 900DS’ brake calipers are provided by Brembo of Italy, and the suspension system by KYB of Japan.

Optional aluminum top and side cases are also available. Seat height is 825mm, and a combination of 21-inch and 18-inch wire wheels come standard.

Philippine availability and pricing are yet to be announced by VOGE Ph.
