The 2022 edition of the Makina Moto Show which was held between July 29 to 31 and showcased some of the newest motorcycles in our market. One of them is from India and is geared for your business, the TVS King.
200cc power
Powering the TVS King is a 200cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that produces about 11 Ps and 15.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed transmission complete with a reverse gear.
As for the chassis, the TVS King utilizes a semi-monocoque design that is comparable to some sedans. Bumps are handled by coil springs for both the front and rear.
Last mile delivery
These days, shopping has never been easier thanks to smartphone apps like Lazada or Shopee. Generally, the last mile delivery of these items is handled by motorcycle riders onboard their scooters or underbones. Since these small motorcycles can only carry a few items, every trip is costlier compared to a model like the TVS King that can carry more items.
The TVS King can carry items triple or maybe even quadruple that of a regular two-wheeler.
Availability
The TVS King is available in three variants: Deluxe, Duramax, and Cargo (which is the pick-up truck version complete with an open rear bed). The price of the TVS King starts at PHP 182,900.
