TVS launches NTorq 125 Super Squad Edition

Fans of the Marvel series can now ride like superheroes thanks to these new liveries for the TVS NTorq 125. In partnership with Disney India, TVS new Super Squad Edition NTorq 125s come with a choice of three liveries inspired by Marvel’s Avengers superheroes.

The Super Squad Edition models come in three liveries: Invincible Red, Stealth Black, and Combat Blue. As you may have guessed these are inspired by the costumes of superheroes, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Captain America respectively. For those that already have the Marvel helmets from Spyder or HJC, these would be perfect.

TheSuper Squad logo and the iconic Avenger’s ‘A’ are prominently placed on the front panel, leg shield, and below the speedometer.

As you may have guessed, the Stealth Black edition is inspired by Black Panther. It features a jet-black color along with hues of purple. Elements of the Black Panther’s suit are integrated into the decals.

Yes, it even comes with the signature Wakanda Forever salute and the number 66 (1966), denoting the year the character was introduced in the Marvel Universe.

Clearly Iron Man’s colors, this livery features a red and gold design. Iron Man’s helmet is embossed on the leg shield, while the arc reactor is visible on both panels.

As a nod to all the Iron Man suits, this bike is called Mark XXIX, making it Iron Man’s 29th suit, along with the number 63 (1963), the year the character was introduced in the Marvel Universe.

Combat Blue

Wearing Captain America’s colors, the scooter gets the red, white and blue shades of the First Avenger. It sports the number 41 (1941), the year Captain America was introduced in the Marvel Universe.

It wouldn’t be the Cap without the shield, visible in front of the scooter, with “Super Soldier” written on the sides.

The bikes are designed to work with the TVS Connect App, featuring a special livery even in the interface of the app. They come with a customised UI, inspired by the characters, opening with the silhouette of their respective characters and signature items like Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s suit, and the Black Panther’s eyes along with the character crest.

The SuperSquad Edition is part of TVS’ efforts to appeal to a younger generation. The NTorq 125 introduced Race Tuned Fuel Injection across its portfolio last year and hopes this latest set makes the model more appealing to new-generation customers, particularly Gen. Z.

Unfortunately, the TVS NTorq 125 and the Super Squad Edition is only available in India. There, it’s priced at INR77,865 (PhP50,981, excluding duties and taxes). With a price like that, it would have made for a very tempting offer in the Philippines.

Locally, though, TVS does offer the Dazz Prime, priced at PhP59,990. You can read our first impressions of it here.
