KTM introduces the MyKTM mobile app, which allows for quick and easy bike set-up with key tuning tools and helpful advice from the comfort of your smartphone device. The software is now downloadable for both iOS and Android.
KTM PowerParts Connectivity Unit Kit
Remember that it also needs the KTM PowerParts Connectivity Unit kit (now available for purchase) installed on the bike.
This new mobile app from KTM can help riders customize their bike’s parameters to suit the terrain or riding preferences. For example, through the app’s sliding scale, riders can modify their KTM dirt bike’s throttle response, traction control, launch control, and even the bike’s engine braking force.
Through the app, riders also have the ability to customize the suspension settings, thanks to the app’s sag assistant and suspension settings recommendation. The system effectively removes hundreds of hours of guesswork and will make the bike more competitive in all types of terrain.
Unfortunately, this feature is only applicable to two models for now, the 2021 KTM SX-F and the 2020 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition.
We certainly hope KTM looks into adding this feature to the rest of the model lineup.
