Thierry Sarasyn set a new record for crossing 15 EU countries in 22hrs

Back in 2021, Italian moto journalist, Valerio Boni, has attempted to cross 11 European countries within 24 hours onboard the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce.

This year, another rider attempted to cross more than a dozen European countries and has done so in just 22 hours. That rider is Thierry Sarasyn.

Sarasyn has set a new tourism record after visiting 15 EU countries in just 22 hours with his Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE. On Saturday, May 20, 2023, Sarasyn visited 15 countries in one day on the Kawasaki Adventure Touring Motorcycle. Thanks to little to no COVID-19 travel restrictions, the Belgian rider only needed 22 hours to travel 2,200 kilometers, with respect to the local traffic rules of each country he visited.

“When I got the chance to ride in the Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE, I saw it as an opportunity to set things straight once and for all. A walk through 15 countries, registered by an official tracking system, as well as respecting traffic rules and resting enough along the way. “ said Thierry.
