CVO Pan America soon in Harley-Davidson showrooms

Just a few days ago, news broke out that Harley-Davidson is developing a CVO version of America’s only adventure bike offering, the Pan America 1250. According to sources, the information came from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) when it published a name filing “CVO Pan America” from Harley-Davidson.

Now, it seems that the news is true and the boys in Milwaukee are indeed developing a CVO version of the Pan America 1250.

Just recently, select customers of Harley-Davidson in the US began receiving pamphlets of the upcoming CVO Pan America 1250. CVO stands for “Custom Vehicle Operations” and is the pinnacle of factory custom for Harley-Davidson. Additionally, these bikes also possess the best in class in terms of performance, one-of-a-kind paint options and premiere parts & accessories.

Based on the pamphlet received by select Harley-Davidson customers in the US, the CVO version will be featuring a Legendary Orange with Raven Metallic and Atlas Silver finish featuring a stylized “#1” on the fuel tank.

The crash guard is also finished in Legendary Orange color scheme.

As for the luggage system, Harley-Davidson collaborated with SW-Motech to develop a pannier and top case system for the CVO Pan America. A 40-liter waterproof duffle bag also comes standard.

Another standard feature on the CVO is the Screaming Eagle quick shifter.

Other features include semi-active suspension and adaptive ride height, adaptive headlights, cornering ABS, traction control, hill start assist, linked braking, wheelie mitigation, tire pressure monitoring system and many more – which are already standard features on a non-CVO Pan America 1250.

Additionally, this bike retains the standard 1,250 cc Revolution Max engine of the non-CVO Pan America 1250. Philippine arrival and price is TBA.
