KOVE Motorcycles shows off 800X Super Adventure at EICMA

As we’ve said before with Bristol Motorcycle’s Venturi 500 adventure bike, we were really impressed with the bike's performance and reliability. If you click the link above and read our review, you would agree that the bike really took a beating and survived without breaking.

Now, the makers of the tough and reliable Venturi 500 are back again, this time, showing off the 2023 800X Super Adventure at the recently concluded EICMA show in  Milan, Italy.

T7 rival

With Japanese and European manufacturers fielding their respective 700-850cc adventure bikes, it is quite obvious that the battleground is in the middleweight adventure bike segment. For China, the 800X will try to get a piece of the pie from this segment where Yamaha’s T7 is dominating.

It's powered by a parallel-twin cylinder liquid-cooled 800cc engine that is claimed to be capable of churning 99 PS of power and 80 Nm of torque. The 800X Super Adventure is more off-road-biased compared to its smaller Venturi 500 sibling, thanks to its 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels on a pair of what appears to be Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.

Other features include a 5-inch TFT screen, riding modes, full-LED lighting, and a claimed 183-kilogram curb weight. If true, it means that the 800cc 800X is a full 21 kilos lighter than the 689cc Yamaha T7.
