The CFMoto 700CL-X Sport is packed with premium goodies for less than P400K

In late last year, one of the most anticipated motorcycles to come out from CFMoto’s factory has finally arrived in the country. Distributed in the country by Motostrada, the 700CL-X Scrambler pays homage to the off-road motorcycles back in the day while still embracing today’s modern tech.

Fresh from last month’s EICMA in Italy, CFMoto PH is proud to announce the arrival of the 700CL-X Sport in the country, and the best part: the SRP is only PHP 399,800.

700CL-X Sport

The 700CL-X Sport is a neo-retro motorcycle that is based on the 700CL-X Scrambler. They share the same steel trellis frame, 693cc parallel-twin engine with slipper clutch that churns out 72 Ps of power and 61 Nm of torque. Even the sporty exhaust was carried over from the Scrambler, as well as the computer riding aids, and KYB suspension.

What sets the Sport apart is mostly aesthetics, like the bar-end side mirrors, clip-on handlebar, paint scheme, sporty 1-piece seat, 17-inch wheels, dual front disc brakes, and Brembo brake calipers.

Also, instead of a set of Pirelli MT60 tires (the same tires on the Ducati Scrambler), the 700CL-X Sport rolls on a pair of Maxxis MA-ST2 road-biased tires.

Availability

The CFMoto CL-X Sport is now available at Motostrada at a very affordable SRP of PHP 399,800, in Nebula White and Velocity Gray. For comparison, Honda’s neo-retro CB650R retails at PHP 501,000, while Yamaha’s XSR700 retails at PHP 479,000.

With savings of up to PHP 101,200 vs Honda’s neo-retro offering, features that are at par (or maybe even greater) than its closest Japanese-made motorcycle in the same category, technological expertise gained from years of KTM-CFMoto strategic partnership, the 700CL-X Sport could be a “game-changer”, especially if you’re in the market for a retro-inspired big bike.
