ChampU offers online riding courses

Earlier this month, we’ve talked about how proper guidance from certified riding coaches can help you improve your riding skills, and thus, make for a safer ride on your motorcycle.

Of course, while these can definitely improve your riding and make you a safer rider on the road, these riding schools do not come free. In addition,  you'll need to alot time away from work or family in order to attend these classes.

In this day and age, wouldn't it be nice to have an online class option for riding schools? Fortunately, a riding school based in New Jersey, USA does.

Yamaha Champions Riding School

Yamaha Champions Riding School (YCRS), which is primarily based in Millville, New Jersey (NJ), USA, is now offering riding lessons online for an introductory price of US$ 49.95 or roughly Ph₱ 2,530.00.

The online course, which is their core curriculum, includes 40 videos, 32 drills and 43 quizzes to help you improve your riding, and taken on the challengers of the road more safely. All things considered, Ph₱ 2,530.00 is a lot cheaper than purchasing a roundtrip ticket to the USA, plus food and hotel accommodations just to attend YCRS classes in NJ. Also, you can take these classes during your free time, anywhere.

The only downside is that you have to perform the drills by yourself without a motorcycle coach observing for stuff that might need some attention, like bad habits, not looking where you're supposed to look, etc.

YCRS was founded by Nich Ienatsch, who has more than 35 years of motorcycle riding and has a couple of American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) victories under his belt.

The school is based on Ienatsch's book, Sport Riding Techniques, and has occasionally had guest instructors from Yamaha-sponsored MotoGP, World Superbike and AMA teams.
