It’s official: the Suzuki V-Strom 250SX makes its Philippine debut today at the Inside Racing Lifestyle Expo, World Trade Center, Pasay City.
The SRP: PHP 229,000.
First produced in 2017, the V-Strom 250 was initially intended as an entry-level adventure bike that will complement the middleweight V-Strom 650, as well as the liter bike V-Strom 1000.
The V-Strom 250SX, is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, oil-cooled engine that churns out 26.5 PS of power at 9,300 RPM and 22.2 Nm of torque at 7,300 RPM. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission. The seat height is just 32.8 inches – or just 2 inches taller than the Burgman Street 125’s saddle.
The V-Strom 250SX also boasts a 12-liter fuel tank, with an estimated range of at least 350 kilometers in one full tank. Other features include front and rear disc brakes with ABS, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear dual-sport tires, and a fully-digital panel gauge.
Unlike the V-Strom 250SX for the Indian Domestic Market, the version that will be sold here in the country will not have Bluetooth connectivity for the Suzuki Ride Connect.
Suzuki Motorcycles Philippines and its dealers are now accepting orders and reservations for the new V-Strom 250SX, with deliveries starting Q1 of 2023.
