“We’ve crossed the finish line. To be honest, when they [Suzuki] told us that this will be our last race, I cried a lot,” says Rins through his official social media page.

According to Rins, 2022 may have become a great year for the Hamamatsu-based manufacturer, possibly winning a title. “Not only because I think it was our year, but because Suzuki has been a family for me since joining the team in 2017.”

Since coming back to the premiere class in 2015, Suzuki has always been a contender and has become MotoGP’s world champion in 2022 with Joan Mir at the saddle.

“Together, we have built a winner bike, won epic races, and fought for championships...Even when we weren’t scoring points, when we didn’t qualify well or the day they told us we were out of the championship, We didn’t give up. We always gave everything that we got, individually and as a team,” added the emotional Rins.
