Easily one of Suzuki’s most popular scooter models is the Skydrive. With the original offering coming in a larger-than-average size and comfortable riding experience, it’s no surprise Suzuki added a smaller offering, the Skydrive Sport.
Now the Skydrive family grows again with the addition of the Skydrive Crossover.
The Skydrive Crossover tackles a segment the original two had not, riding on less-than-ideal roads. It provides an automatic alternative to the Raider J Crossover.
Fitted with rugged wheels and semi-block tires, the Skydrive Crossover hopes to go where the previous two could not.
Built on the already proven Skydrive platform, the Crossover takes it further with semi-block tires designed to offer better grip on both paved and unpaved roads. It’s paired with a high ground clearance of 150mm to more easily ride over obstacles. It is also fitted with a sport touring handle bar to better take on the rougher roads while offering an easy and relaxed riding position. It’s paired with a large floorboard, and low seat height of 740mm.
Riders can see vital trip info on its full-digital instrument panel which includes a trip-meter, digital clock, speedometer and battery voltage indicator.
Powering the Skydrive Crossover is a 113cc engine certified with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP). This features fuel injection technology to deliver maximum power and optimum fuel-efficiency.
Serving as the final touches are decals that add a more aggressive, sporty and adventurous impression. Its colored brake caliper and suspension also add some aesthetic contrast.
The Skydrive Crossover is available in four colors: Daytona Yellow, Pearl Ash Blue, Strong Red, and Solid Black and is priced at Php 69,900. The Skydrive Crossover will be available in showrooms in November.
