Suzuki sport models get updated MotoGP livery

Buyers of Suzuki sport bikes in select countries will have the option of availing of the 2020 MotoGP Edition.

The new livery, based on Team Suzuki Ecstar's 2020 GSX-RR MotoGP race bike, will be available for the GSX-R1000R and GSX-R125 in Japan, and the GSX-S750 in France.

The new livery features a new blue and silver color combination inspired by Suzuki's MotoGP race bike. This new MotoGP livery has been designed to commemorates Suzuki’s 100th anniversary that was on March 15th, 2020. That milestone is also celebrated by the commemorative 100th anniversary tank protector exclusive to these models.

Other than the special paint scheme, these are the same GSX-R1000R, GSX-S750, and GSX-R125 offered their showrooms. Only the GSX-S750 MotoGP Replica gets an additional Akrapovic slip-on exhaust.

Unfortunately, these new colors are only for buyers in Japan and France. Locally, these models still bear the previous year’s MotoGP racing colors. Though if they are scheduled to arrive, the likely candidates to receive this will be the GSX-R1000R and the GSX-R150.

Whether we’ll get these updated MotoGP colors soon has yet to be determined, but the two-tone blue and grey look is certainly a welcome change from the blue and yellow we’ve been offered in the past.
