It was last November when Royal Enfield launched the Meteor 350 in their homeland of India. Now, barely 4 months after, the Meteor 350 is finally arriving in our shores.

Royal Enfield Pilipinas, the exclusive distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in the Philippines, will welcome the Meteor 350 this coming Friday, March 19, 2021.

Just like most product launches these days, the event will be streamed live through the company’s social media channels.

The new Meteor 350 is Royal Enfield’s take on cruiser bikes. It is powered by a single-cylinder, 349cc air-cooled EFI engine that produces 20 Ps of power and about 27 Nm of torque.

Though the Meteor 350 is inspired by classic motorcycles, it is not without modern features fit for today’s standards. These features include ABS, LED lighting, alloy wheels and a USB charger.

The bike will also feature a semi-digital instrument panel, complete with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation via a second LCD dial.

Though Royal Enfield calls the Meteor a cruiser, however, based on its history and the riding position of the current model, it appears to be closer to a standard bike. In fact, the styling and rider posture is very similar to a Universal Japanese Motorcycle (UJM). Positioning it as such could make it a very tempting and affordable alternative to Honda's CB series and Yamaha's SR400.

The Fireball, which is the most affordable variant, will be available in a Fireball Yellow or Fireball Red color scheme. The Stellar trim will be offered in Red Metallic, Black Matte, and Blue Metallic color schemes. The Supernova variant will be the top-of-the-line of the Meteor lineup and will be offered in two paint options: brown or a blue dual-tone paint scheme.

Philippine SRP will also be announced this coming Friday.
