Philippine MotoGP hopeful, McKinley Kyle Paz has just arrived in Spain in time for this weekend’s 2021 Moto2 European Championship at the Montmelo Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Paz will be competing in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship; a class just a step under Moto2, and two steps below the premier league, the MotoGP World Championship.

For this championship, Paz will be running under the VR46 Master Camp Team, a team run by MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi and son of Monster Team Yamaha’s Lin Jarvis.

It’s safe to say Kyle has caught the team’s attention. The young rider is the 2019 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) UB150 Overall Champion and was invited to join the 8th Yamaha VR46 Master Camp (an exclusive, by-invitation training camp) that same year.

Paz and Yamaha Philippines have eagerly shared behind-the-scenes photos of their first official test session with the VR46 Master Camp Team. These give us a rare glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes, in between practice sessions and races, and the coordination within the team.

We wish Kyle luck in the coming race this Sunday. Look at for the blue #32 bike. The European Moto2 class will have two races this Sunday, June 13, 2021. Race 1 starts at 6:00 PM Philippine time, with Race 2 at 9:00 PM Philippine time.
