In November of last year, EICMA was the venue for Peugeot to showcase their first foray into the adventure scooter segment with the XP400. Now, it’s finally here in the Philippines.
XP400: Ready for adventure
Peugeot was very clear that this will be a 400cc scooter – meaning that it will pass the Philippine-only regulation for an expressway-legal motorcycle. The XP400 will be available in two variants: Allure and GT.
The Allure (units coming soon) will be the road-spec variant that will enjoy a set of alloy wheels. The GT, on the other hand, is the off-road biased XP400 and will come equipped with wire wheels. Both scooters will also ride on 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels.
Other features include dual front disc brakes, ABS, a 5-inch color TFT screen, USB charging ports, and dual under-seat compartments with generous space for a full-face helmet and other small items.
According to Motostrada, the exclusive distributor of Peugeot Motorcycles in the country, the SRP of the XP400 will start at PHP 555,900.
